Jan Walliser

Jan Walliser is an economist in the African Department of the International Monetary Fund. Between 1996 and 1998, he was a fiscal policy analyst at the U.S. Congressional Budget Office. Mr. Walliser received a Ph.D. in economics from Boston University in 1998 and a Diplom-Volkswirt degree from Kiel University, Germany, in 1993. He has authored and co-authored several articles on intergenerational redistribution through fiscal policy, tax reform, macroeconomic aspects of pension reform, and annuitization of retirement income.
