Ruth Shamraj (M.A., Russian and East European Studies, University of Michigan, 1994) is a Technical Writer at the MRRC. Ms. Shamraj's recent work experience was as Editor at the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research, where she wrote technical documentation and engaged in communications and outreach with news announcements and promotional materials. Her graduate training is in Ukrainian ethnography and culture. She has contributed as coauthor to several Ukrainian language textbooks. Her present career focus is on the clear and articulate translation of research findings for policy makers, those in practice, and the public at large.
